“Practice makes a man perfect” and without practical exposure and hands-on workouts on what we learn, education never gets complete. To achieve this goal our school takes well care so that each and every student gets the chance to expertise their skills on practical exercises along with theoretical learning. Our school has arranged well-equipped laboratories in all possible fields like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer etc. Students here, are taught ins and outs of the respective subjects with personal attention and skilled guidance.
Physics Laboratory
This state of art laboratory consists of all modern equipments for every experiment included in the syllabus for class XI - class XII of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education.
Chemistry Laboratory
This state of art laboratory consists of reagents for all experiment included in the syllabus for class XI - class XII of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education. Every student gets one Bunsen Burner for experiment.
Biology Laboratory
This laboratory consists of formidable amount of microscopes. The collection of the specimens is one of the best in this zone. All the experiments included in the syllabus for class XI - class XII of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education are performed in the lab.
Library
Everything needs a resource to grow, education also needs a consistent resource of knowledge to be grown and spread. Sodepur High School has a library of books that is large in both size and age. It is enriched with a collection of innumerable books of almost every subject. Students can study a book seating here as well as he can lend book for some stipulated period of time.
Computer Laboratpry
Computer lab of the school consists of 10 IBM PC all are LAN connected accompanied with UPS. Every computer has Windows XP as operating system and all other language packages which are necessary for the syllabus prescribed by the West Bengal Board of secondary Education and West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education.
